Bachelor's Degree or 10 years' associated experience in the fuel supply (Jobber network), fuel distribution to independent dealer industry. 

5+ years of work experience with a fuel distributor (Jobber) or Major oil company. For example,  Shell, Exxon, Valero, Chevron, Texaco, Phillips 66, Marathon, Citgo, Sunoco, or BP. 

Knowledge of Brand Management, supply agreements and Dealer management / relations. 

Knowledge of c-store/gas station operations. 

5+ years of sales management with a focus on new business development within the convenience store industry.

 Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

 Ability with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Job Summary

Solicit and sign profitable new business. Build and maintain business relationships with existing customers and solicit new ones, and build a pipeline reflecting the company's goals to grow motor fuel sales in branded and unbranded channels.


Increases the sale of wholesale fuels via new/existing business through the following:

Bringing new wholesale dealer customers on board

Maintaining and keeping existing wholesale customers on board successfully signing renewal agreements with existing customers.

Maintaining communications between customers and company

Maintaining company / Brand standards at Dealer sites

Must be able to understand Profit and Loss Reports

Has a working knowledge of the PMPA, dealer fuel agreements

Maintains knowledge of brand requirements as related to brand/site image and procedures

Coordinates and monitors brand imaging work for new accounts

Counsels customers on maintaining profitability and growing their businesses.

Demonstrates leadership with customers by directing sales calls, managing sales contracts, and closing sales.

Advises customers on equipment upgrades: assist customers through the purchase or upgrade process by ensuring adherence to all regulations.
